Responsible to:
- Technical Manager/Senior Technical Manager

Scope:
- To ensure tender and construction work packages are comprehensive and fully considered before the timely release
- To provide a technical supportive role during the construction phase

Responsibilities post planning:
- Procure surveys, investigations and the like
- Assist in the appointment of the design team and initiate the appointments in conjunction with the Technical Manager/Senior Technical Manager
- Responsible for the timely procurement of all statutory utility services both temporary and permanent in accordance with programme
- Manage utility services throughout construction process including MPan registrations, metering agreements, meter call offs, maintaining records and data from communicating in O&M file etc.
- Assist in managing the design team throughout the design process,
- Initiating and chairing workshop meetings
- Work closely with the QS to ensure that the design is progressing and deliverable in accordance with the cost plan
- Ensure that all tender packages are thoroughly reviewed and are totally comprehensive to enable fixed costs to be established
- Chair tender package reviews and value engineering, working closely with the QS and Construction Team
- Monitor progress against the design programme
- Ensure comprehensive construction information exists to facilitate an unhindered build
- Establish the timely supply of design information for the production of all sales and marketing material
- Working in conjunction with the Sales Manager, procure the Sales Model and CGI's and ensure compliance with the design
- Procure all necessary information for the legal conveyance process, such as NHBC Warranties, conveyance plans, postal address etc
- Manage the timely discharge of planning conditions and discharge of both NHBC warranty and building control conditions
- Be the principle contact during the construction works ensuring the timely conclusion to RFI's and general trouble shooting
- Manage the completion of the Health and Safety Files and O&M Files

Qualifications:
- 5 GCSE's with high grades in maths and English
- HNC
- NVQ Level 3

Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years continuous experience working in the construction industry having a background in either architecture or engineering. The last 2 years working within the residential sector for a development company or main contractor on similar sized developments to those undertaken by this Division.
